The Joint Working Group/Committee of the International Association of
Geomorphologists (IAG) and the International Geographical Union (IGU)
held the TS11 session, “Geomorphology and Society,” at the IAG Regional
Congress in Timișoara, Romania, in September 2025. The session was
organized by Dr. Mihai Micu of the Institute of Geography, Romanian
Academy of Sciences, and was chaired by Jiun Chuan Lin and Anita
Bernatec Jakiel. Six oral presentations and three poster presentations
were delivered.Website

The session “Geomorphology and Society” will be held at the regional
conference of the International Geographical Union (IGU) in Istanbul in
August 2026. Presentations on a wide range of topics are welcome. Website
